I received the following email this morning and thought I'd pass it along:
"
ALCON
The Kuwait government just started with a new law that required all personnel arriving from the swine flu infected countries to go thru a Kuwait medical clinic for a check up within 72 hours upon arrival in Kuwait. Everyone is being check at the airport for sign of fever and it is being handed the attached health card. With that card the individual must go to a clinic within 72 hours.
The Kuwaiti government, in response to the Swine Flu outbreak, is now taking all passengers' (with an initial flight from the USA) temperature as they enter into Kuwait City International Airport (KCIA).
Forwarded for your information and situational awareness."
I also have the scanned medical form as well.
Thoughts: Personally, I think it's a sensible idea, and practical from the Kuwaitis standpoint as they only have a single point of entry. For the US it would be difficult, but not impossible, to implement something similar. Would the local hospitals have to abosorb the cost? Certainly, but as a public health issue I think it would be cheap.
On the other hand, if anyone were to suggest it, the MSM and idiots on the Left would scream RACISM and XENOPHOBIA at the tops of their lungs to the nearest camera. As they do every time someone suggests enforcing already existing immigration law and policies. But these same individuals will allow every other Soverign country in the world to do so without a peep.
ENOUGH FRIGGING GUILT ABOUT SLAVERY ALREADY!!!!!!!! Its over and done with at a cost of over a million lives on both sides. Of all races, creeds and colors. Also on both sides.
