Yes, it's been quite a while since I've posted to my blog, but I've been busy with Life.
Just a couple of thoughts:
A) As a requirement for access to Army facilities in Kuwait, contractors (not Gov't civilians or military members) are required to be 'sponsored' by a Kuwaiti-owned/based company and be legal residents of the State of Kuwait. Guest workers in other words. It is a pain to have to go to Bahrain and have a chest x-ray and blood test to receive a valid work permit. It is a greater pain to have to repeat the entire process in Kuwait a week or so later. Yet we do it without much complaint in order to get the base access required in order to complete our mission under the Contract our employers have with the US Gov't.
B) This is part of Kuwaiti Immigration Law and they enforce it against all non-Kuwaitis, Arab, Muslim, Christian, African, Hindi, Indian, etc.
C) Can the US enforce it's own Immigration Law as written, against any People other than Europeans, without being called racist?
I mourn for my Nation and the Experiment in Republican Constitutional Democracy which is dying - if not dead. And the current Administration seems to be Hades-bound in completing that destruction.
